The apartment, located in the residential complex “Chernyakhovsky 19”, belongs to a young family. They wanted a cozy yet bright interior, which would be equally comfortable for children and adults. That is why the choice landed on a Scandinavian design style.
The main theme for the project was plywood, ornaments and pastel shades. Radiators are covered with plywood boxes with cross-shaped cutouts. The kitchen backsplash features Edge 24×24 triangle decors laid in herringbone pattern in two colors, Neve and Petrolio, from the Element Silk collection. Covering the wall from countertop to ceiling, it became one of the main accents of the apartment. Meanwhile the doors and the partition wall in the kitchen-living room are decorated with shifting diagonal patterns.
The apartment has two bathrooms. The main bathroom was decorated with Ocean 60×120 porcelain tiles in honed satin finish from the Surface collection, combined with a maple wood effect tile very reminiscent of plywood, Element Wood Acero 20 × 120 in matt finish.
The second bathroom, with a shower, is designed in coral color: accent porcelain stoneware Surface Scarlet 60×120 in honed satin finish is complemented by stylish concrete Millennium Silver 60×60 in matt finish, which the designer cleverly emphasized using a contrasting coral grout solution.
